What candidates say about the programme

Instrumental in my job junt

"The EP Job Find Assistance Programme was instrumental in securing my first job. They provided ongoing one-on-one support, which helped me optimise my CV, cover letters and overall presentation. The programme was a breeze, and I felt personally supported throughout what can be quite an intimidating process. Their knowledge and experience was highly valuable, and I would definitely recommend them to a friend."

Interview tips

“As a graduate teacher, my consultant from EP was extremely helpful in giving me advice on what potential employers look for in a CV and the different types of questions I can expect from an interview. She kept in contact and was very supportive throughout the job finding process. I would definitely recommend talking to someone from EP about finding a position as it will give you the tools you need to find the right position that works for you.”

Approachable and friendly consultants

"My experience with EP has been nothing but positive. The team are extremely approachable and friendly. They helped me to create clear and achievable goals, providing support throughout, which made the job find process seem easy. I was provided with a range of resources and documentation which were all very helpful and user-friendly. Thanks EP!"

Helped me show my strengths

"EP guided and supported me through my initial teacher registration and pay assessment, and then managed and boosted my progress as a relief teacher in the Wellington area. The knowledgeable EP consultants were at hand to assist me in designing cover letters and a CV that best reflected my strengths and expertise as a teacher. I received overwhelming support from the experienced EP staff from the initial job applications to the point of settling down in my new position, and with a promise that I can always count on them in future."

Highly recommend

“I found the programme really helpful as I was a recent graduate who was having difficulty finding a job. The programme guides and supports you to find a job that best fits your personal circumstances in a step by step manner. Also, my consultant kindly gave me advice on not only job seeking, but also teaching in a classroom. I would definitely recommend this programme if you are a new teacher”.

Extremely helpful for graduate teachers

"The EP Job Find Assistance programme was an essential part of my job finding process. I was surprised to find a programme that was not only free but so incredibly helpful to graduates seeking to start off their first year of teaching. I was given invaluable, realistic advice about my CV, cover letter, and interview process. The results of the support I received was clear: I got a job very soon after! I would highly recommend this programme to any graduate or teacher who is looking for a teaching job."
